• What is the cost for MazeWorks?

MazeWorks is provided as shareware software.  It can be used for free for one week.  After that point you need to register the software.  The cost is $10 (United States Dollars).  Please see the download screen for registration details.
 

• Is there always a solution to each maze?

Yes - each maze has a solution.  There is one entry, one exit and one (and only one) route through the maze.
 

• How do I use a Doom PWAD level file after I have created it?

To play the maze in Doom II, you will need to specify your new Doom PWAD file as a command line parameter to Doom.exe.

C:\DOOM2\> doom2 –file <your-file>.wad
 

In Final Doom, you can specify the PWAD file in the graphical user interface in the ‘Custom WAD file’ box.
